Star Wars prequel actor returning for Mandalorian Season 2

Breaking news from the world of Star Wars! Temuera Morrison, most famous for playing Jango Fett and the Clone Troopers in Attack of the Clones and Revenge of the Sith, is said to be returning to the franchise.

According to The Hollywood Reporter and confirmed by numerous other sources, Morrison will appear as Boba Fett in the upcoming second season of The Mandalorian on Disney+. It was revealed in Attack of the Clones that Boba was actually an unaltered clone of his father Jango, so having Morrison re-appear as the adult Boba makes complete sense.

Interestingly enough, this is not the first time Morrison has played Boba. George Lucas tapped him to re-record Boba Fett’s voice for the DVD and Bluray re-releases of Empire Strikes Back, creating more continuity between the original and prequel trilogies.

Though Morrison’s role is said to be small, this is nonetheless very exciting news for Star Wars fans.

Are you excited about Morrison’s return to Star Wars? Will we get to see him and Mando have an epic face-off? Only time will tell! Tell us what you think in the comments below.
