Mario 64, Sunshine, Galaxy Switch ports in 2020

Stuck inside with nothing to do? Nintendo has got us covered! Apparently, they have something huge planned for the 35th anniversary of the original Super Mario Bros. (1985 was 35 years ago???).

According to VGC, (confirmed by IGN as well as numerous other reputable sources), “Nintendo will reveal plans to re-release most of Super Mario’s 35-year back catalogue this year, remastered for Nintendo Switch.”

Other sources, including Eurogamer, have reported that the remastered game list will include the following:
-Super Mario 64 (Nintendo 64)
-Super Mario Sunshine (Gamecube)
-Super Mario Galaxy (Wii)
-Super Mario 3D World DELUXE (Wii U)
-a NEW Paper Mario game never before released

This isn’t an exhaustive list, of course, so if your favorite isn’t here, don’t worry.

This is the perfect time to revisit some of these games, especially if some of your old cartridges or discs no longer work, or perhaps if you never picked up that Wii U. Which title are you most excited to play again? Is there a title not on this list that you are hoping for? Tell us in the comments below.
